RIITTA TUUTTI-KYRÖLÄ
artist, technical designer, movie maker
Main techniques I use are drawing, creative painting on porcelain, many graphical techniques, video, photography, ceramic-, leather-, textile- and metalwork.
I have made portraits as well quick caricatures as oil paintings, carbon, aquarelles or miniatures on porcelain.
My portraits has been in invitational exhibition in Helsinki 1998.
Documentary films I have made of common and private happenings, building processes, architecture, art exhibitions, travel documents and shortfilms.
-1982 videofilm “Creative porcelainpainting”.
-1991 and 1992 award of documentation “Espoo Culture center”
and “Environmental center of Espoo”.
I have designed also logos, packages, exlibrises, and advertisements.
I have given education of photo and moviemaking for schoolchildren and private
pupils.
My works display for public is in basic exhibition in my own Gallery.
STUDIO KINO RIITTA
is a space for exhibitions and meetings with possibility to enjoy of performing arts.
It was build of bricks and concrete in 1960, as a movietheatre expressing style of time. Designed by architect Veikko Niemistö. There was 180m2 and 250 seets. Theatre is devided under restoring spaces for Gallery and Studio.
It is located nearby
beautiful small lake and only 500m from railwaystation of Turenki and 14 km from
Hämeenlinna.
